Gerald Salberg President of Cascade Renewable Carbon (CRC) is pleased to announce the completion of erection and commissioning of the Companies new Isoloader Tipper-Transporter for the Companies 32,000 tonne In-Vessel Composting plant in Port Coquitlam
The Australian designed and built transporter is the first of its type in North America and will be used to transport Container Vessels to and from the active digestion area of the plant to a filling and discharge building as part of the Bio Organic Waste Recycling process.

Another significant milestone in the POCO site construction & development was reached this week with the arrival of the "isoloader". The unit has arrived, cleared customs, was shipped to a storage facility in Port Coquitlam, de-containerized, and now awaits erection for use. This specialized unit is used for the loading, un-loading and positioning of the Bio-Organic Composting containers.

July 2011 Air Phaser picture
All major items required for the Port Coquitlam Air Phaser “Non Thermal Plasma” (NTP) air technology systems have been delivered to Surrey BC & is now 80% assembled. The Air Phaser system is designed to oxidize and/or reduce air-borne pollutants, typically classified as Volitile Organic Compounds (VOC's) that need to be transformed to environmentally benign forms.

Gerald Salberg, President, is pleased to welcome the arrival of the main receiving and curing building, a 25,000 sq. ft. structure built by Sprung Instant Structures Ltd. of Calgary. The building seen arriving on three double semi trailers was on time, on budget and is scheduled to be erected in early 2012.

Gerald Salberg President & CEO of Cascade Renewable Carbon Corp. is pleased to announce the appointment of John Sexton to the position of Vice President of Business Development . The appointment underlies Cascade’s commitment to its growth strategy and business model of Design, Build, Own and Operate a Multi Plant operation for recycling Bio Organic waste by Advanced Composting Technology systems and the emerging Organic waste to Energy and Bio Solids conversion.
Cascade will open its first World Class showcase plant in Port Coquitlam, Metro Vancouver this summer.
John has great experience and many friends in the Waste Management Business. Cascade is proud to welcome John on board.
John comments that in considering the appointment three aspects of the Cascade Model attracted him. The timing particularly in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and the market in Canada, in general for this valuable recycling and recovery of Organic waste resources and further, the quality and level of Cascade’s In Vessel Composting Technology and CRC's commitment to its Design, Build, Own and Operate model. John is excited to be a part of this opportunity.

CRC, Stantec, and Bird is the Collaboration Team together with MT-Energie (USA) and Sustainable & Renewable Energy LLC who have submitted a response to a Request for Qualifications issued by Metro Vancouver and the City of Surrey BC for a 80,000 tonne p/tear Bio Gas Recovery, Vehicle Fuel production and CRC Compost Technology Facility.
 

Collaborative Agreement with Stantec Consulting
CRC is pleased to announce that the company has entered into a Collaborative Agreement with Stantec Consulting NYSE – STN and Bird Construction TSX – BD.TON to design & build Compost Facilities across Canada.
 

CRC has entered early stage discussions with select Local Partners in the Ontario Market for development of a 100 tonne p/day In-Vessel Compost Facility in the GTA.

CRC exhibits at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM)

This year´s show was an overwhelming success with hundreds of delegates representing all levels of Municipal government across Canada visiting the CRC display booth to learn more about the CRC process.
